SAASMaine Op: Damage Control IV

The Op

After successfully ousting the Andozian military and mining consortium last year, a provincial government was hastily set up, with the initial focus on cleaning up the environmental disaster that had been left by the Andozian strip mining.

As the year toiled on, it became more and more obvious that the elected president was secretly working for the Andozians, and while the “upper crust” of Cardistan was thriving and pulling in tons of money, everyone else was suffering.

Entire sections of the Cardistani military splintered off from the main force, taking as much equipment with them as they could carry.  Local civilians were pressed into service of the new army, and a massive coup attempt transpired.

The Belligerents

Blue Team: Cardistani Military splinter cells and militia.  Military players are encouraged to wear US-based camo but use non-US replicas.  The Militia is encouraged to wear civilian type loadouts/clothing and non-US replicas.

Green Team: Provincial Government Military and PMCs.  Andozian Military officials and PMCs. We would prefer it if you would wear any non-US camo as Andozian military, and, of course, PMCs can wear anything. US-based replicas are preferred.

Purple Team: Nomads.  Nomads are the indigenous people in what is now known as Cardistan.  They’ve worked very hard to stay out of the world spotlight, and only wish to live in peace.  The Nomad team is invitation-only.

As always, this is not a strict reenactment.  Please come as you are!

Raffle Prize and Rules

• The grand prize is a KWA VM4 M10 (VPS) and a 6-pack of KWA K-120 magazines.
  • Prize package is worth $421.50
  • Any additional donated items will be accepted as “runner-up” prizes.  The field has also donated an ExFog, and will probably offer up some BBs as well.
• Raffle ticket prices are as follows:
  • 1 ticket: $5
  • 5 tickets: $20

100% of the raffle income will be donated to VSF.  You do not have to be present to win, however we will ask that you share shipping costs with us if we have to ship things.

Field Fee + Donation, Rental Fees

• Field fees ($12) will include an $8 donation to VSF, for a total of $20.
  • The field will donate half the $12 field fee ($6), for a total of $14 donation per player.
  • The field will retain the entirety of the rental fees.
