The fourth Sunday in July is our host’s Open Farm Day, so we don’t typically run a full event. Last year, as had an “informational booth” with some of our regulars to talk airsoft, as well as a display of all sort of gear, AEG part, accessories, etc.

This year we’ve decided to do something a little different.

Airsoft is for everyone who is interested and able, despite the fact it’s still a primarily male-dominated sport/hobby. We would like to invite local ladies, who may have an interest, to come and talk to existing players, get a handle on the equipment and make some new friends. Existing players will have the chance to talk to like-minded women, make friends, talk kit and replicas. We’ll have a couple of our female regulars (at least) who can discuss airsoft from a female point of view, as well as (hopefully) some ladies from other fields who may make the trip north.

If you already have kit and a replica, please feel free to bring it, especially if you’re having problems with it.. we can certainly help.

We’ll have all sorts of stuff on display, from replicas to grenades to gear. We’ll give you the chance to have some fun at our airsoft range, and it there’s enough interest, we’ll host some quick run-and-gun type gameplay (CTF, TDM, etc.) in and around Pallet Fort (Waivers will be required. Please be familiar with our Basic Values & Rules).

This event is FREE for the ladies, and is open to interested , new, and experienced female players alike.

Reminder: No person shall be denied participation at Southern Aroostook Action Sports on the basis of body type, citizenship, ethnicity, experience level, gender identity, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. All forms of sexual harassment are prohibited at all times. Bullying and intimidation are forbidden unless it is scripted into a role-playing aspect of the game.
