GRENADES
“Distraction” grenades, like the Bang22, Hakkotsu Thunder B, and clones are encouraged. We will be experimenting with blast radius rules:
- If you are within 10’ on a grenade that explodes, you are hit.
- If a grenade explodes inside a building or bunker, everyone in that area is hit (even if you may be beyond the blast radius). If a grenade goes off on the other side of a solid man-made barrier (pallets, tires, etc., you are NOT hit.)
- Pretend that Pallet Fort has a roof. Do NOT throw grenades over the walls.
- Field management will experiment further, so these guidelines may be updated.
Radio Communication
If you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your faction’s radio channel. You may monitor the other factions’ channels, but do not transmit on them. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.

The Op
Three factions:

Survivors: comprised of both civilians and military. They can use any weapon.
The Damned: mostly human, but infected. Any melee kill by them results in the human becoming Damned. They can use any weapon.
Infected: full-fledged infected zombies. They are immune to bullets and grenades. They can be killed only by melee weapon. They kill by touching a human, making them Damned. These are the zombie volunteers and can be identified by the face masks they wear. DO NOT SHOOT THE INFECTED.
Backstory: After the horrible battles of The End Times, the factions of the resistance and the military have been reduced to nothing but a small group of survivors. Many of their former members have fallen to the virus and now fight to kill them. What remains of the resistance and the military have joined together to fight against the evil infected they now only refer to as The Damned.
Gameplay
SEMI ONLY GAME. DO NOT SHOOT THE INFECTED.
Phase 1 – “The Cause” – Standard 3 minute self/buddy spawn
Both Sides want the remaining virus materials for their own reasons, the Survivors want to prevent it from spreading further, while the Damned want to unleash it upon the world.
Objective: Virus will be in a locked box ██████████████████████████. Players will need to find the lock code and use the code to unlock the lock and unchain the virus containment case, then return the virus containment case to their team’s base.
Mission Special Rules:
Players MUST carry the virus in the lock box. Virus container may NOT be removed until it’s time to store it properly in Phase 2. If a team gets the box combination, that’s great, but they must remove the box from the tree first. Players are not allowed to cut the bike lock or cut down the tree.
If player is killed while carrying the lockbox, it is dropped at that location. Other players may collect it from that location, or, if the player is healed via buddy spawn, they may then pick the objective back up.
Once the lockbox has been safely returned to a team’s base, radio that information on Channel 11 so administration can set up for Phase 2.
Phase 2 – “The Cursed” – Standard 3 minute self/buddy spawn
Now that the remnants of the Virus have been found, that that team must now get the virus to the location that best suits their faction’s agenda.
Survivors: Place the virus container in the containment compartment of the convoy vehicle (center console), then “re-camo” the vehicle. MUST RTB with lockbox (put the lock inside the lockbox).
Damned: dump the virus in the Survivor’s water supply. Place virus container and lock in the lockbox. MUST RTB with lockbox.
Mission Special Rules:
If the other team acquired the virus during the last mission, then the team’s primary objective is to kill the player carrying the virus, retrieve the virus and proceed with the mission as noted above. If player is killed while carrying objective, it is dropped at their location. Other players may collect it from that location, or, if the player is healed via buddy spawn, they may then pick the objective back up.
Once a team successfully completes their mission, radio that information on Channel 11 so administration can set up for Phase 3.
Phase 3 – “Hunger” – TDM
As time passes the power of the virus pushes the infected further and further away from humanity. There hunger for death and chaos grows.
Objective: Team Deathmatch. At the end of 45 Minutes the team with the most living players wins. There will be no respawns or medic heals during this mission. Players must remain in the spot in which they were killed until they are resurrected by Bear.
Phase 4 – “The Apocalypse” -Special respawn rules, TBA
Death is all that remains. The Damned have lost all touch with reality and sanity. During all the movement, the virus has spread and started to affect the Survivors as well. All the Infected have been reduced to nothing but killing. Everything in sight, friend or foe must die.
There will be some plot twists in this phase.
(Our sincere gratitude to Callsign_Dad for the scenarios he sent earlier this year)
